Tax Accountant

We require a tax accountant to join our team. We are a rapidly expanding tax refund company processing refunds for the armed forces sector along with security, mobile workers, and offshore riggers. The role is different from a traditional accountancy practice in that our client base is nationwide, the cases can be complex and a high degree of concentration is required.


The successful candidate will have knowledge of submitting tax returns and the tax system in general. Candidates must understand the PAYE system and be able to deal with benefits in kind.

Telemarketing Executive, £20,000 basic with £36,000 OTE uncapped commission

Due to our business growth, we are looking for an experienced telemarketing /salesperson to fill our vacancies for this position.


Swift Refunds Limited is a fast-growing accountancy firm that specialises in providing tax refunds to mobile workers and people working in temporary places of work. We are looking for a target driven hungry salesperson to join the team and make the business grow even faster.


Swift Refunds Limited is a very modern accountancy firm and due to our digital and traditional marketing efforts, any telemarketer joining our team will never be short of new leads to call and new sectors to target.


What you will be doing:


  • Calling leads who have enquired with us as well as cold calling potential leads as we have a strong refer a friend scheme so even these leads will have heard of us. This is to sell the advantages of using Swift Refunds to get their tax refund.
  • Working to sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reviewing your sales pipeline on an ongoing basis to ensure sales conversions are maximised.
  • Attending and contributing to regular team huddles and working closely with the administration team.
  • Data cleansing as you work your way through leads.
  • Contacting company owners to set appointments for field sales to set up strategic partnerships in order to generate more leads from those companies via a company referral scheme.

We provide you with full one to one training. Covering script, delivery, sales techniques plus full training on our CRM system to get you up to speed.

What we offer:


  • A basic salary of £20,000 to £25,000 based on experience
  • Monthly paid uncapped commission with monthly bonuses exceeding £800. You will earn commission based on how many leads you can progress to becoming clients which would involve them starting a tax refund as a result of your sales activities.
  • 20 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Mon-Fri 9-5, no evenings or weekends however overtime is always available for weekends.

Office Administrator full time £16,500 to £20,000 depending on experience

Swift Refunds provide tax refunds for people in the armed forces, construction, sports and mobile workers in general.


This is a rapidly expanding company with excellent career development opportunities and we have a few vacancies for this role.


As an office administrator, your role will be to support the accountants by processing claims that are generated from the website.


Role profile:


Chasing/dealing with new and existing customers in order to obtain relevant information to finalise a tax refund claim via telephone and email.


Obtaining and sending legal agreements to HM Revenue and Customs.


Keeping our customer relationship management system (CRM) up to date and all client details are as accurate as possible.


Monitoring and responding to the company share email inbox.


Responding to customer inquiries via telephone and email.


Responding to live chat enquiries on our website.


Candidate requirements:


Good experience of office 365 suite preferred but not essential as full training will be given.


A candidate with previous administration experience is essential, along with excellent customer service and telephone skills as you will be dealing with up to 30 inbound calls per day from clients. Being able to proactively make outbound calls to clients to chase documentation and give updates on their claims is also an integral part of the role.


Salary – £16,500 – £20,000 depending on experience.


A yearly bonus scheme is available depending upon company performance.


The administration team also has a monthly team bonus based only on achieving specific targets as a team.


Full comprehensive one on one training will be provided for the successful candidate.

Senior Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant. (Semi Senior Accountant applicants will also be considered.)


Money Matters a firm of Chartered Accountants is based in Warrington, Cheshire and is a well-established practice with over 20 team members. Money Matters is Part of the Swift Group which also includes Swift Refunds Limited.


We are searching for candidates who can hit the ground running having had previous experience of working in an accountancy practice. This is a position in which you will learn, develop and progress your career as you will have a range of duties dealing with all aspects of clients affairs which will include:


  • Statutory accounts preparation for limited companies and sole traders
  • Corporation Tax
  • Self Assessment Tax Returns
  • Management Accounts
  • VAT
  • Company Secretarial
  • Working as part of a team to research and advise clients on taxation and accounting matters.


Candidates can be qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience. Study support is available.


You will attend CPD courses to advance and keep your knowledge up to date.


It is expected that you will have knowledge of accounts preparation software for example Iris, CCH and Sage and also accounting and bookkeeping software such as Sage 50 accounts, Quickbooks, Xero etc.


Depending on experience, candidates may also supervise and assist junior members of staff.


Salary depending on experience:


Semi Seniors £18,000 to £32,000


Seniors £32,000 to £45,000


This is a full-time position however part-time will also be considered for the right candidate.
